We Heal
Sara Asal, CEO at Shawerna Web-Design, is a Computer Engineer with over 15 years of experience in research, data science, web design, teaching, project management, marketing management, and consultancy. Healthcare has been a great part of her life being born to a family of front-liners as well as having dealt with the loss of family members including her younger brother, grandmother, aunt, and uncle to health challenges. With her extensive background and experiences, she is inspired and devoted to creating a better, more efficient online support systems for healthcare industry stakeholders.
With her Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the American University of Sharjah (AUS), she has developed proficiency in data mining of brain Electroencephalography (EEG) and IoT technologies. Soon after she has received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with an Above Target evaluation. She also continues to dive into her career tracks of Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Data Scientist.
Sara is now enjoying being a new mom on a quest for discovery with an avid interest in digital healthcare twinning, virtual education, system design, computer vision, and genomic analytics.

Dr. Mohamed Fizou
Dr. Mohamed Fizou is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in anesthesia, ICU, pain medicine, and pulmonology. Throughout his career, he excelled in providing comprehensive care to patients in various medical settings as well as virtually with Shawerna. In their roles as an Anesthesia Specialist at AlMariee Private Hospital and the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE, Dr. Mohamed delivered direct and immediate care to emergency room patients, performed endotracheal intubations for trauma patients, and prescribed pain medications for post-operative clients.
Dr. Mohamed's commitment to patient well-being extends beyond anesthesia. During their tenure at the Ministry of Health Oman, he provided anesthesia for surgical patients, consulted with pre-operative patients regarding pain management plans, and monitored the conditions of patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. His expertise also included prescribing pain treatments for cancer patients and counseling individuals with chronic pain conditions.
Furthermore, Dr. Fizou gained valuable experience as a Visitor Resident in Pain Therapy at Cairo University National Cancer Institute. He worked closely with veteran anesthesiologists and pain consultants, conducting research, prescribing pain medications for post-operative patients, and piloting studies on pain relief for patients with advanced cancer.
Dr. Mohamed began their medical career as a House Officer, performing medical examinations, assisting in procedures, and participating in preventative medicine programs. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for their subsequent specialization in anesthesiology, ICU, and pain medicine.
Overall, Dr. Mohamed brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care in the fields of anesthesia, ICU, pain medicine, and pulmonology. Dr. Souad Amin
Dr. Souad Amin is a highly dedicated medical professional specializing in family medicine, pediatrics, and ultrasound. She also actively contributes to medical education and awareness initiatives, serving as a lecturer in schools and educational institutions as well as aiding the increase of public knowledge and promoting preventive healthcare practices.

Her notable achievements include obtaining JCIA and Magnet accreditation for prestigious medical centers in Lebanon, Jeddah (KSA), and Kuwait.
By leveraging international guidelines and best practices, Dr. Nada successfully implemented transformative projects, resulting in the highest scores among hospitals in the region. With expertise in nursing administration, financial and human resource management, and healthcare system operations, she has played a pivotal role in driving organizational success. She has held key advisory positions, including Advisor to the CEO at Makassed General Hospital and Advisor to the COO of the Mother Association in Lebanon. Dr. Nada further served as the Clinical Education Director and Director of the Clinical and Professional Development Center at the American Hospital of Dubai, UAE. Her skill set thus includes strategic management development, education and professional staff development, personnel management, quality control, and service excellence. She is also certified in various leadership and management skills and has a proven ability to thrive in front-line, middle, and senior management roles.

Eman Helmy is a dedicated pharmacist with a strong commitment to quality patient care proving value to our team at Shawerna. Holding a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Assiut University and is now a licensed pharmacist in the UAE. With a passion for ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical services, She had achieved certification from the American Board in Quality. This certification demonstrates her expertise in quality improvement methodologies and their ability to implement best practices in healthcare settings.
Having served as the In-Charge Pharmacist at Medicina Pharmacy, she plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations with attention to details on pharmaceutical regulations, standards, and best practices. With a focus on patient well-being, Eman Helmy excels in medication counseling and patient education. She collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy management programs that meet individual patient needs for better precision medicine.

Eng. Sherif Youssef
Eng. Sherif is an accomplished architectural engineer at Shawerna with extensive expertise in hospital project management, green buildings, Lean construction, and civil work regulations. Holding his degree from Al-Azhar University he continued to attain certifications in CDM Regulations, Building Information Modelling, Lean Construction Management, Green Building Principles, LEED v4 Core Concepts, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI organization, he brings a comprehensive skill set to his work.
His career spans civil engineering projects across Egypt, Qatar, and the UK, showcasing his versatility and proficiency. As a senior technical engineer at CRC Dorra Group, Eng. Sherif played a pivotal role in completing notable projects. Notably, he contributed to the successful completion of the prestigious Place of VENDOME project at Lusail City, which included a multi-level mall, three 5-star hotels, a multi-story car park, a skating hall, a food court, and a cinema hall. He also made significant contributions as the Technical Manager and Assistant Project Manager for Pearl City's MONACO Tower in Porto Arabia, overseeing the construction of residential buildings and a podium.
Eng. Sherif's expertise further extends to Egyptian renovation projects, such as the United Bank Al-Menia branch, where he served as the project manager. He also played a key role as the Finishing Executive Engineer for the renovation of the Dar Al-Maghraby Dokki Tower, overseeing the internal and facade finishing. In addition, he supported the Raouf Hotels International project in Sharm-Al-Sheikh as the Technical Manager and Assistant Project Manager, involving the construction of luxury 5-star hotels, a lake, restaurants, and a retail complex.
With a keen eye for architectural coordination, Eng. Sherif demonstrated his talent during his service at the Steigenberger Nile Palace project for the Le Merdian Luxur 5-star hotel in Luxor City, Egypt. Working alongside renowned architect Dr. Salah Zaki's United Consultant office, he ensured seamless integration and synchronization of architectural elements.
Eng. Sherif's wealth of experience, coupled with his strong project management skills and in-depth knowledge of green building practices, positions him as a valuable asset in the architectural engineering field. His commitment to excellence and his ability to deliver successful projects make him a trusted professional supporting our virtual hospital modeling and civil construction in the healthcare industry.

Lujein Farhat
Lujein Farhat, Communications Advisor at Shawerna, is a Chemical Engineer with over 10 years of combined experience in the fields of teaching, journalism, and content creation. An unflagging enthusiasm for all manner of aesthetic and artistic endeavors has led her down myriad paths of self-expression as well as a variety of introspective pursuits. Whimsy aside, dealing with personal health issues has brought her to the realization that empowering others with viable access to healthcare and knowledge is key to sustaining a rich and vigorous lifestyle.
As a Bachelor of Science holder in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Engineering Management from the American University of Sharjah she discovered a passion for orchestrating large-scale projects and mind-bending problem-solving. Her climate-consciousness spurred her into testing environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors such as Azadirachta Indica (ie Neem Tree) for her final project.
Her interests are varied as she dabbled in multiple graduate-level programs including a Masters in Chemical Engineering, Tesol (Teaching English as a Second Langauge), and Organizational Psychology respectively. After interning with the Emirates Gold factory for a time, she went on to pursue a career in journalism and translation in The Gulf Today and Dubai-based Khaleej Times newspapers. A serendipitous opportunity to explore the world of e-commerce and online marketplaces soon followed thereafter in an up-and-coming initiative by Dubai Economy and Tourism, DubaiStore, as a Content Specialist.
